The restoration of the Chiostri del Carmine complex in Brescia stands out for the clarity of its conceptual choices and, in particular, demonstrates its multidisciplinary character through the use of a contemporary architectural language that has been carefully studied in relation to the ancient, as also expressed by the lacquered wooden doors and windows.
Following restoration, the Chiostri del Carmine complex presents itself as a monument that is both ancient and new, rich in history but also full of hope for a future life, ennobled by a lofty cultural and community function similar to that which it hosted in the past. This is expressed by the lacquered laminated fir wood chosen for the windows and entrance doors, model PM Origini 70.
