Preserving the original identity of its architecture was the guiding principle behind the restoration project for this villa overlooking Lake Como, which, right from the entrance, showcases the restoration of the existing pediment in all its originality.
The shapes and dimensions of the shutters were respected and the sandblasted, galvanized, and painted hardware was recovered, while some samples left on site were used to reproduce models of windows and doors equipped with sound insulation, given the presence of the nearby bell tower. Inside Villa Allamel in Como, the paneling and woodwork are beautiful, as designed by architect Hajime Miyajima.
